Island Bay Kindergarten

Island Bay Kindergarten tautoko (supports) tamariki to harness their auahatanga (creativity), to express themselves, solve problems, test out and invent new ways of doing things. At kindy there are many opportunities to engage in art making processes and projects that promote exploring and playing with materials, collaborating with others and discovering unique ways to communicate ideas, emotions and stories. Recent mahi toi (artwork) by tamariki will be on display at the Kindy on Melbourne St.
