Libbie is the type of artist who loves to play with different materials and ideas.

Her current passion is an exploration of liquid paint where the canvas is laid flat and thinned paints are poured in layers then flicked, stroked, blown, dragged and tilted. It’s a balancing act between artist and paint. How far can she push things? When should she leave it alone? The paint then continues to develop over the next few days as it dries, and watching this unfold brings further joy.

The resulting paintings are dreamy fantastical garden scenes with a lively and whimsical mood.
