Whether you're walking, cycling, or just out for a weekend drive, this is your chance to explore the art and stories that make our community unique. Along the way, you’ll find community organisations opening their doors and welcoming visitors, and local schools proudly showcasing the amazing work of our next generation of young artists.
The South Coast Arts Trail welcomes everyone to explore our region. While you're here, be sure to check out our cafes, arts and crafts stores, and all the natural sights the South Coast has to offer. It’s a chance for locals to celebrate their home and for visitors to immerse themselves in a truly unique south coast experience.

The South Coast Arts Trail features local artists, emerging and established, as well as artists from community organisations and budding artists from school organisations.
The South Coast Business and Promotions Association is our not-for-profit umbrella organisation, making sure that the south coast thrives for businesses and community. The South Coast Arts Trail celebrates and promotes artists that live, work, or have strong connections to the South Coast of Wellington, from Owhiro Bay, through to Houghton Bay, Island Bay and Berhampore, with studios and exhibitions across multiple venues during the weekend event, bringing many visitors to our region.
